IT Support Officer

Position Overview:

Cyprus Airways is seeking an IT Support Officer to provide day-to-day technical support to employees and assist with the smooth operation of the company’s IT systems and equipment.

The role will work closely with the IT Manager and is suitable for someone with a good foundation in IT support who is looking to gain further experience within an airline environment.

 Key Responsibilities:

•  Provide day-to-day IT support to users across all departments.

•  Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices and standard business applications.

•  Support Microsoft 365 accounts, email, user access and basic account administration.

•  Prepare and configure equipment for new employees and manage onboarding/offboarding IT requirements.

•  Maintain IT equipment and asset inventory records.

•  Assist with basic network, Wi-Fi and connectivity troubleshooting.

•  Ensure company devices are maintained in accordance with internal IT and cybersecurity policies.

•  Support routine system checks, updates, endpoint protection and security requirements.

•  Assist with documentation required for cybersecurity, NIS2 / PART-IS and internal IT procedures.

•  Coordinate with external IT vendors where required and escalate more complex technical issues to the IT Manager.

•  Provide basic support for the company’s operational and business systems when required.

  Qualifications:

•  Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

•  Good understanding of Windows, Microsoft 365 and basic networking.

•  Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

•  Organised, reliable and willing to learn.

•  Ability to work independently and support users in a professional manner.

Previous IT support experience would be considered an advantage
