Medicover Laboratories is seeking a Reception Officer to join our team at the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center Laboratory, in Strovolos. 

Working Hours

• 42hours/week 
• Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 16:00  or 08:30 - 16:45 (rotating shifts with another Reception Officer)
• Saturday: 08:30 – 10:30 (Saturdays are on rotation with another Reception Officer)

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Register patients and tests accurately in the system
• Handle payments, daily administrative and reception duties
• Manage patient inquiries
• Sending test results to patients
• Coordinate efficiently with blood collectors and Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center personnel 
• Ensure smooth patient flow and excellent customer service

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or relevant healthcare Bachelor's degree ie Biology etc
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Polite, professional, and patient-oriented personality
• Good computer skills and confidence in using PC systems
• Ability to work responsibly in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in Greek and English

Additional Qualifications (considered an advantage)

• Knowledge of GESY system
• Experience with LIS (Laboratory Information System)
• Familiarity with clinical laboratory tests and terminology
• Previous experience in a medical or healthcare environment
