An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team in Nicosia. 

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage end-to-end accounting cycles, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting deadlines
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, including supplier payments and customer invoicing processes
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records
• Prepare and present management reports to support informed business decision-making
• Provide financial analysis and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements

Requirements

• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience in a demanding accounting environment; experience within an agency or group structure will be considered an advantage
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or an LCCI Higher Certificate
• Progress towards a recognised professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA) will be considered a an advantage
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online will be considered an advantage
• Sound knowledge of applicable Cyprus VAT, Tax, and Social Insurance legislation
• Excellent command of both Greek and English, in written and verbal communication
• Strong analytical capabilities, combined with a high level of professional judgment and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to operate with initiative, discretion, and a proactive approach in identifying and resolving discrepancies
• ​Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or E-soft accounting software will be considered an advantage
