Annual Gross Salary Range: €20,800 - €28,600

Final salary will depend on qualifications, skills, and experience, in line with our transparent pay structure.

What we are looking for:

Entry Requirements:

• BSc in Economics, Finance, Law, Risk Management, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field from a reputable university

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, preferably within the financial services sector

• Fluency in Greek & English (written and spoken)

• Strong analytical and organisational skills

• Excellent report writing and communication skills

• IT literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines

• A proactive, professional and team-oriented mindset

Special Considerations (to be considered as an advantage):

• MSc in a relevant field (e.g. Economics, Finance, Law etc.)

• Professional qualifications or progress towards qualifications

• CySEC Certifications such (i.e. Basic, Advanced or AML Examination)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform internal audit assignments for Investment Firms, Financial Institutions and other regulated entities, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Assist in the planning and execution of risk-based internal audit assignments, including the preparation of audit programmes and assessment of relevant risks and controls.
• Conduct reviews of internal controls, governance arrangements, risk management frameworks and operational procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive audit working papers, ensuring that audit evidence, findings and conclusions are properly documented.
• Draft internal audit reports, presenting audit findings, risk exposures and recommendations in a clear and professional manner.
• Communicate with clients' management, Boards of Directors, Compliance Officers and Risk Management Departments in relation to assigned internal audit engagements.
• Liaise with relevant Regulatory Authorities, where required, in relation to internal audit matters and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to client queries and provide professional guidance on internal audit, governance, risk management and regulatory matters.
• Work closely with the Internal Audit Manager(s) and other team members to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of audit assignments.
• Report on the progress of assigned engagements, significant findings and any matters requiring further attention to the Internal Audit Manager.
