Assistant Restaurant General Manager&nbsp;Job Scope:&nbsp;To assist the RGM in the day to day management and leadership of the team. To supervise shifts to ensure that sales, profitability and standards are maximised and all Company policies and procedures are followed. Proactively coach and support the team at all opportunities.&nbsp;Job Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous experience of managing a diverse workforce</li><li>Commercial Awareness</li><li>Understanding of P&amp;L</li><li>Demonstrates strong Sales Focus Coaching Basic HR knowledge (disciplinary/grievance process)</li><li>Customer Mania Strong Communication skills, at all levels</li></ul>Core Responsibilities:&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; People:<ul><li>Support RGM with Bench Planning process, effectively managing staffing levels and recruitment ensuring your restaurant is staffed to optimum at all times. Actively utilize recruitment systems and tools in collaboration with HR department</li><li>Rigorously follow legislative requirements associated with recruitment of employees – statuses</li><li>Proactively manage and oversee all new joiners through their Induction and in store Training Timetable.</li><li>Maintain up to date personnel files and training records for all employees using the HRM System.</li><li>Support your RGM with the Performance Appraisals in line with the company guidelines and timescales.</li><li>Proactively develop team members and managers, ensuring a robust ‘talent pipeline’ is in place</li><li>Proactively and consistently manage all in-store Employee Relations issues involving your RGM</li><li>Drive a high performance culture in store</li><li>All statutory and company Health, Safety and Food Hygiene regulations must be strictly adhered to at all times and corrective action taken in a timely manner as necessary</li><li>All employees to be fully trained on fire procedures, Health &amp; Safety, Food Hygiene and Security/Robbery procedures</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Customer:<ul><li>Create a customer focused environment which is appealing to brand’s diverse customer base</li><li>Manage all customer complaints in line with company policy, escalating issues to RGM and Area Coach, where appropriate.</li><li>Assist the RGM in rigorous completion of period Action Plans, completing actions in a timely manner.</li><li>Support and assist the RGM in follow up on any issues arising from Audits internal or external</li><li>Utilize company tools and reports so that your store consistently provides an excellent level of customer service</li><li>Develop a strong sales culture in your store, setting team members and managers clear sales targets for every shift.</li><li>Manage team member incentives and drive regular recognition in store.</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Profit:<ul><li>Support and assist your RGM in maximizing the profitability of the restaurant by understanding and controlling all restaurant costs (e.g. labour, food).</li><li>Support and assist your RGM in the development of a strategy to maximize profitability of your restaurant, regularly reviewing and adapting in line with business needs.
