Job DescriptionHead Chef&nbsp;Scope of JobThe Head Chef will lead the kitchen operations of our newest restaurant located at Columbia Secret Valley, overseeing all aspects of food preparation to ensure dishes are delivered to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation. This role requires inspiring and guiding the team to achieve excellence in both à la carte and banqueting services.&nbsp;Location: Columbia Club House at Columbia Secret Valley&nbsp;Reports to: Head Executive Chef&nbsp;Key Responsibilities· Create and execute menu items in line with recipe cards and established standards.· Direct and supervise the food preparation process across all sections, ensuring quality, timeliness, and consistency.· Deliver banqueting menus and services upon request, in collaboration with relevant departments.· Execute banqueting and events to ensure seamless service delivery.· Monitor kitchen staff scheduling, productivity, and performance in line with operational needs.· Conduct both on-the-job and off-the-job training sessions to continuously develop the kitchen team.· Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.· Implement and maintain HACCP and Health &amp; Safety policies and procedures.· Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams to support seamless operations.· Maintain structured documentation related to overall kitchen operations, including staff training, procedures, and compliance records.&nbsp;KEY REQUIREMENTS&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Experience&nbsp;<ul><li>Minimum 3 years’ experience in this role or a similar leadership position.</li><li>A Culinary Degree from a recognized culinary school.</li><li>Proven banqueting experience will be considered an advantage.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li></ul>&nbsp;Skills &amp; Knowledge<ul><li>Strong team management and leadership qualities.</li></ul>· In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, HACCP, and safety regulations.<ul><li>Commercially astute with a solid understanding of cost control and kitchen operations.</li><li>Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.</li></ul>&nbsp;Behavioral characteristics&nbsp;<ul><li>Approachable</li><li>Strong team player and leader</li><li>High level of attention to detail</li><li>Commitment to consistency.</li></ul>&nbsp;All applications will be treated with the strictest confidence.Interested applicants may email their CV at jobs@columbia-restaurants.com&nbsp;Industry<ul><li>Food and Beverage Services</li></ul>Employment TypeFull-time
