Andreas Menelaou LLC as part of its continuing growth and development, is currently accepting applications concerning an Advocate position in its Litigation Department, at its Nicosia offices.Interested applicants are kindly requested to submit their resume to: <a href="mailto:info@menelaou-law.com">careers@menelaou-law.com</a>&nbsp;Duties:▪️ Meeting and advising clients on legal matters, including business transactions, contractual disputes, civil and commercial claims, liability issues, and general legal rights and obligations.▪️ Interpreting and applying laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals, businesses, and corporate entities.▪️ Conducting legal research and case analysis to assess the merits of claims, anticipate legal risks, and develop appropriate litigation strategies.▪️ Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, agreements, affidavits, and other court-related documentation.▪️ Representing clients in court proceedings, including the District Courts, Supreme Court, and administrative bodies.▪️ Preparing and submitting legal filings, applications, and appeals before the competent courts and authorities.▪️ Liaising with regulatory bodies, government authorities, and external counsels on behalf of clients.▪️ Keeping up to date with legal developments and procedural changes to ensure compliance with current laws and best practices.▪️ Collaborating with colleagues and legal teams to provide comprehensive legal solutions and contribute to the firm’s litigation strategy.&nbsp;Key Skills/ Experience:▪️ Registered with the Cyprus Bar Association.▪️ Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in litigation.▪️ LLM (Master in Laws) or LPC (Legal Practice Course) will be considered an advantage.▪️ Fluent in English and Greek. Any other language will be considered an advantage.▪️ Computer literacy is paramount.▪️ Knowledge of the Zygos Litigation Management platform will be considered an advantage.▪️ Excellent communication and organization skills.▪️ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.▪️ Strong attention to detail.&nbsp;Remuneration and Benefits:▪️ The remuneration to the successful candidate will be according to experience and qualifications.▪️ Continuing legal education and professional development.▪️ Employer-sponsored health insurance, offered to eligible employees.&nbsp;All applications will be treated in strict confidentiality.
