This position is responsible for executing multi-currency payments, maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing VAT/VIES submissions, overseeing monthly payroll processes, and ensuring timely statutory reporting. The role also includes the preparation of monthly management reports,&nbsp; as well as annual statutory financial statements under IFRS, coordination with external auditors, and support with tax compliance matters, including income tax returns and transfer pricing documentation. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial operations while providing reliable financial information to management and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise at all levels of the organization.A proactive, flexible approach with a high degree of learning agility and a hands-on mentality with the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution is expected.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:1.&nbsp;&nbsp; Treasury function:<ul><li>Payments to suppliers in various currencies</li><li>Monthly payroll payments</li><li>Payment of VAT, Special Defence Contribution, Income Tax</li><li>Issue of Bank guarantees</li><li>Liaison with financial institutions</li><li>Maintenance of cashflow and presentation of cashflow positions to Management team</li></ul>2.&nbsp; Bookkeeping function<ul><li>Recording of expenses/invoices in the accounting system</li><li>Issue of sales invoices and receipts</li><li>Preparation and submission of VIES and VAT returns</li><li>Generation of statements</li><li>Managing of accruals and provisions and monthly reconciliation of accounts</li><li>Reporting and year-end operations</li></ul>3.&nbsp; Payroll function<ul><li>Employee onboarding (Social Insurance, Tax obligations)</li><li>Monthly payroll operations (incl. calculation of tax allowances, payroll payments, payment of employee deductions/employment contributions).</li><li>Preparation and submission of annual Employers Returns</li></ul>4.&nbsp; Financial Statements<ul><li>Recording of tangible fixed assets and of accrued expenses/provisions as at year end</li><li>Preparation of Company Statutory Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS</li><li>Preparation of unaudited Consolidated Financial Reports</li></ul>5.&nbsp; Statutory Audit of Financial Statements<ul><li>Act as liaison between the company and external auditors for all audit issues and coordinate the finalization/signature of Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS</li></ul>6.&nbsp; Company Income Tax Return and other relevant forms<ul><li>Coordination with tax agents and finalization of Company Income Tax Return (Form TD4)</li><li>Provision of information for Transfer Pricing Study/Simplified Local File requirements to Tax Consultants</li><li>Submission of relevant documentation to the Tax Department and review of Tax Determinations</li></ul>7.&nbsp; Monthly and other reporting to TSS<ul><li>Monthly preparation of full reports for submission to TSS</li><li>Submission of monthly payroll for approval</li><li>Act as the main point of contact for the monthly Report Binder</li><li>Provision of information to ad-hoc requests and unpredictability audits</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements:Academic:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- A professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, or in-progress) is considered an advantage.Professional Experience:- 5+ years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role, with hands-on involvement in bookkeeping, payroll, VAT/VIES submissions, and financial statement preparation.Technical Skills:- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Cyprus tax and statutory obligations.- Proficiency with accounting software.- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word).Competencies:- Strong decision-making abilities, with the confidence to take ownership and drive results.- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise at all levels of the organization and for liaising with financial institutions, auditors, and tax consultants.- A proactive, flexible approach with a high degree of learning agility.- A hands-on mentality with the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.- High attention to detail.- Strong organizational skills.- Ability to meet deadlines.&nbsp;What We Offer:<ul><li>A strategic, high-impact role within a fast-growing technology company.</li><li>A collaborative and supportive team culture that values initiative, innovation, and professional growth.</li><li>Competitive compensation package.</li><li>Flexible working arrangements, with option for hybrid work to support work–life balance.</li><li>20 days&nbsp;of annual leave which increases with years of service.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Apply by clicking <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://onlinerecruitment.exelsyslive.com/?c=7837DA03-C906-4685-A6F1-F3F462AEB015&amp;v=VCC012&amp;applynow=true">here</a>.&nbsp;
