Systems Engineer, Nicosia – SYEN/03/26 Our client, is seeking to recruit a skilled and analytical Systems Engineer to join its growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing business and technical requirements, designing system solutions, and supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of software and IT systems across multiple projects and clients. Main Responsibilities<ul><li>Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into system-level designs and solution architectures</li><li>Design and support system integrations, data flows, and interactions between applications, databases, and infrastructure components</li><li>Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, feasible, and aligned with business needs</li><li>Support the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of systems across development, testing, and production environments</li><li>Participate in system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality and stability</li><li>Monitor system performance, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for optimisation</li><li>Perform systems-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis across applications, middleware, databases, and infrastructure</li><li>Support incident resolution and production environments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations</li><li>Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and efficiency</li><li>Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, configurations, and integration specifications</li><li>Ensure systems comply with security, quality, and compliance standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 27001/37001 where applicable) ​​​​​​​</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field</li><li>Proven experience in a similar role such as Systems Engineer or Systems Analyst</li><li>Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system implementation processes</li><li>Experience in system analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design</li><li>Good understanding of enterprise systems and infrastructure, including operating systems, networking, virtualization, and distributed environments</li><li>Familiarity with web and application architecture, including APIs, HTTP communication, and secure system design</li><li>Basic knowledge of databases and data management concepts, including relational databases and application–database interactions</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across multiple system layers</li><li>Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Excellent documentation, analytical thinking, and communication skills</li><li>Familiarity with enterprise systems, ECM platforms, or business applications will be considered an advantage</li></ul>Remuneration &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary, including a 13th salary</li><li>Provident Fund</li><li>Private medical scheme</li><li>Hybrid working model</li><li>Continuous training and development opportunities</li><li>21 days of annual leave (increasing with tenure)</li><li>Paternity and maternity leave with full salary</li><li>Educational leave</li><li>Wedding leave</li><li>Free coffee and breakfast at the office</li><li>Excellent working environment If you are interested please apply here:&nbsp;https://recruitcrm.io/apply/17749445575440061567LrR &nbsp;</li></ul>
