Job Description

You will support system users who rely on the GIS platform for their operational tasks. This includes answering questions, training users on GIS tool usage, and assisting with workflows related to GIS functionality.

The role involves handling support tickets, testing, bug fixing, and reporting problems. You will also analyze support cases to identify patterns or recurring issues.

 

 

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Urban/Town Planning, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

·        Bachelor's degree or master degree in Geospatial Technology or Information Technology preferred

·        Higher diploma or certification in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) will be considered an advantage

·        Experience in ESRI products and technologies will be considered an advantage

·        Experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage

·        Experience conducting user trainings will be considered an advantage

·        Excellent knowledge of both English and Greek is a must

·        Ability to understand and transform business processes and requirements into software

·        Strong problem solving skills and ability to give optimal solutions

·        Ability to communicate with customers and provide support

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·        Strong writing and presentation skills

·        Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical stakeholders and public officials

·        Familiarity with planning systems, planning zone regulations, and local government procedures will be considered an advantage

·        Understanding planning zone layers, land‑use classifications, parcel data, and planning constraints will be considered an advantage

·        Ability to interpret planning maps and regulatory GIS datasets
