Lowland International Shipping Cyprus Ltd. is a crew management company based in Larnaca offering tailor-made crewing solutions for all types of offshore vessels, merchant ships, and cruise ships.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Crew Officer/Administrator.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar position within a shipping company, or a degree in maritime studies or a related field.
• Ability to deal with people of different nationalities in a professional, human-oriented and tactful manner.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
• Excellent command in English (both written and verbal).
• Friendly attitude and positive personality.

Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain the crew management software with accurate and up-to-date information on crew members' details, qualifications, and certifications.
• Coordinate and schedule of crew changes for traveling crew members, ensuring timely and efficient transitions.
• Review and verify crew members' documentation, including passports, visas, and certificates, ensuring compliance.
• Communicate effectively with customers, crew members, management, and other departments to address any issues or concerns promptly.
• Liaise with travel agencies, port authorities, and other relevant parties to facilitate crew travel arrangements and logistics.
• Handle refunds and expenses, and provide administrative support to the Crew Managers team, including filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
• Manage company’s social media.
• Handle incoming calls, greeting visitors as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Crew Manager or other higher-ups in the organization.
