Software Engineer (Junior, Mid-Level or Senior)

About the team:

PRIME Technology (InterActiv ACS) team is designing, developing and supporting the implementation of 3D-Secure applications (primarily ACS) for Issuer banks and FIS datacenters. 

What you will be doing:

Our Software Engineers are responsible for coding, debugging, maintaining, supporting, implementing and validating applications whilst collaborating and communicating with appropriate parties. They will further maintain and utilise application and programming documents in the development of code, recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards, and create appropriate deliverables and develop application implementation plans throughout the life cycle.

The key responsibilities of the role will be:

• Developing code for TSYS Software independently using various tools and owning responsibility for quality assurance of their development.
• Solving client software issues and supporting the client software life-cycle.
• Performing corrective measures for code deficiencies and escalating alternative proposals as necessary.
• Communicating and enforcing coding standards
• Performing peer code reviews.
• Datacenter/Platform operation support.

Applications are welcome from candidates at Junior, Mid-Level and Senior levels. While the core responsibilities of the role remain the same, the scope, complexity of assignments, level of autonomy and degree of technical leadership will vary depending on the level at which the position is filled.

What you bring:

• Educated to degree level in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, MIS, or related work experience in lieu of a degree 
• Experience in C#/Java, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, MVC and concepts of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control tools, such as Git, to manage and collaborate on codebases
• Familiar with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban 
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment 
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is EUR 27,000.00 - EUR 37,000.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
