G.A.P. Vassilopoulos Group is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team of The Classic Hotel, a 4-star hotel located in the heart of Nicosia, Cyprus.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional with strong organisational and supervisory skills, who is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest satisfaction.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Housekeeping team.
• Assign duties and ensure the efficient allocation of rooms and cleaning tasks among team members.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and other hotel facilities to ensure that cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
• Monitor room status and coordinate closely with the Front Office Department to ensure rooms are prepared and released on time.
• Supervise, support and guide housekeeping staff throughout their daily duties.
• Ensure that all cleaning procedures, hygiene standards and hotel policies are followed.
• Monitor the proper use and availability of cleaning supplies, linen, guest amenities and housekeeping equipment.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up with the relevant departments to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist with staff scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing levels according to hotel occupancy and operational requirements.
• Train and support new and existing Housekeeping team members.
• Handle guest requests related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
• Conduct regular inspections and report any operational issues to Hotel Management.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of housekeeping procedures and overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience at least at Floor Supervisor level is essential.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping operations, room inspection procedures and hotel cleanliness standards.
• Strong supervisory, organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and coordinate a housekeeping team effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene procedures within a hotel environment.
• Good command of English and/or Greek will be considered an advantage.
• Previous experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment will be considered an advantage.
