Job Description

Responsibilities:

This job position has the following responsibilities and duties:

• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations, reporting, and compliance requirements
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with regulations
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist in the preparation of management accounts
• Experience in accounting and preparation of financial statements and reconciling accounts
• Reconcile VAT accounts and ensure proper documentation
• Process invoices and manage bookkeeping tasks
• Work with accounting software to record and manage financial transactions.

Requirements:

The successful candidate should have the following skills, education, and experience:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years relevant experience
• ACCA qualified or in progress
• Skilled in VAT compliance, Social Insurance, and Tax authorities
• Proficient with accounting software (e.g., E-soft, Odoo)
• Strong analytical, organisational, and time-management skills
• Effective team player and independent worker
• Excellent Greek and English communication skills
• IT literate and adaptable
• High integrity with a positive, proactive attitude.
