Junior Accountant (Nicosia)
Job Description
Cyproman Services Ltd is currently seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join our Nicosia Office.
General Description:
Has the responsibility to organize and complete the accounting work for the clientele portfolio assigned to him/her and ensure that the objectives and deadlines are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures that all accounting work and related reports are properly prepared in accordance with the latest IFRS Standards.
- Ensures that the management or any other report (i.e., VAT, VIES reports) sent to the clients is accurate (monthly/quarterly/annually).
- Has the responsibility to effectively communicate with the clients and respond to their queries efficiently and effectively.
- Makes sure that the accounting files are well organized, and all transactions are properly supported with valid and qualitative documentation.
- Uses efficiently the software system(s) of the company.
- Acts proactively to ensure that the work runs smoothly and reports potential overruns.
- Implements, enforces, and maintains established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:
- University Degree in Accounting.
- 1+ years of relevant experience.
- If in the process of pursuing a professional qualification ACA/ ACCA, will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
Excellent computer literacy.
