We ‘re on a mission to find the best talent out there. We are now looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance Department in our offices in Limassol.
What the job looks like?
· Accurately record and post supplier invoices, credit notes, customer receipts and other accounting transactions.
· Prepare and maintain supplier and customer reconciliations, ensuring transactions and outstanding balances are properly accounted for.
· Communicate with suppliers, customers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and outstanding items.
· Support the Purchase-to-Pay process, including the appropriate matching of Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt Vouchers (GRV) and supplier invoices.
· Ensure transactions are recorded using the appropriate G/L accounts, cost centres and accounting periods in accordance with company procedures.
· Support accounts receivable activities, including customer receipt allocation and reconciliation of customer balances.
· Assist with month-end closing procedures, reconciliations and preparation of supporting schedules.
· Maintain accurate accounting records and appropriate supporting documentation.
· Assist with internal and external audit requirements and preparation of requested supporting information.
· Support the use and implementation of Finance systems, automation and digital tools, including new technologies introduced within the Finance Department.
· Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, accuracy and automation within Finance.
· Provide general accounting and administrative support to the Finance team as required.
What does it take to do the job?
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
· Previous accounting experience will be considered an advantage.
· Experience with accounting software and ERP systems will be considered an advantage, along with strong computer literacy and the ability to adapt to new technologies, digital and automation tools.
· Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
· Fluency in both Greek and English.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
