A. Hadjipieris Ltd, a leading dairy manufacturing company and member of the Omiros Dairies Group, is seeking to recruit an Accounting Officer to join its Finance Department.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the Company, ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of accounting transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations
Perform bank, creditor and debtor reconciliations
Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation
Assist with monthly accounting close procedures
Prepare and process accounting entries and journals
Support VAT, VIES and other statutory reporting requirements
Communicate with suppliers, customers and external stakeholders as required
Support internal and external audit activities
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Cyprus VAT requirements will be considered an advantage
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
