Job Description

Vassos Eliades Ltd, one of the largest trading companies in Cyprus, is looking for an Accounting Officer with very good knowledge of the Polish language for full-time employment in Nicosia.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Recording purchase and sales invoices, credit notes, receipts, and payments in the accounting system.
• Checking the accuracy of invoices and supporting documentation.
• Reconciling customer and supplier accounts.
• Communicating with Polish-speaking customers, suppliers, and business associates regarding accounting and financial matters.
• Managing and filing accounting documents and supporting records.
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and other accounting reconciliations.
• Collaborating with other members of the Accounting Department and with other departments of the Company.
• Performing any other related duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous work experience in an accounting department or in a similar position will be considered an advantage.
• Very good knowledge of the Polish language, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of Greek and/or English.
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Legal right to work in the Republic of Cyprus.
