Vassos Eliades Ltd, one of the largest trading companies in Cyprus, is looking for an Accounting Officer with very good knowledge of the Polish language for full-time employment in Nicosia.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Recording purchase and sales invoices, credit notes, receipts, and payments in the accounting system.
Checking the accuracy of invoices and supporting documentation.
Reconciling customer and supplier accounts.
Communicating with Polish-speaking customers, suppliers, and business associates regarding accounting and financial matters.
Managing and filing accounting documents and supporting records.
Assisting with bank reconciliations and other accounting reconciliations.
Collaborating with other members of the Accounting Department and with other departments of the Company.
Performing any other related duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous work experience in an accounting department or in a similar position will be considered an advantage.
Very good knowledge of the Polish language, both spoken and written.
Good knowledge of Greek and/or English.
Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Legal right to work in the Republic of Cyprus.
