Collect Group is seeking an AML Compliance Specialist to support its anti-money laundering and compliance activities across payments and financial services. Experience in cryptocurrency or digital assets will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct KYC/KYB checks, customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence for individuals and corporate clients.
Review ownership structures, beneficial owners, source of funds and source of wealth documentation.
Perform sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening, investigating and escalating potential matches.
Monitor customer activity and transactions to identify unusual patterns and potential money laundering risks.
Investigate alerts, document findings and escalate suspicious activity to the AMLCO/MLRO.
Support customer risk assessments, periodic reviews and ongoing monitoring.
Assist with updating AML policies, procedures and internal controls.
Maintain accurate compliance records and support audits, regulatory enquiries and reporting.
Work closely with Legal, Risk, Payments and Operations teams on compliance matters.
Requirements
CySEC AML certification is a MUST.
Relevant experience in AML or compliance within a regulated fintech, payment institution, bank or other financial services organisation.
Good understanding of AML/CFT principles, KYC/KYB, sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.
Experience reviewing corporate structures and handling enhanced due diligence cases.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and sound professional judgement.
Excellent written and verbal English.
Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
Relevant degree in Law, Finance, Business or a related field.
