AML/KYC Officer (FBME/NIC/2026) 
 

The Company 

FBME Bank Ltd (Cyprus Branch) - under liquidation, is currently recruiting and AML & KYC  Officer in Nicosia, for the Review of Depositors’ Claims Team. 
  
 

Requirements 

• University Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Law or a related field, or with  a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role (AML/KYC/CDD) is required.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Cysec AML) will be considered as an advantage. 
• Sound knowledge of current laws, regulations and common practices in AML.
• Experience in using electronic AML systems (e.g. World-Checks) is required.
• Computer literate with a strong knowledge of MS office.
• Ability to display a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
• Excellent command of the English and Greek languages.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and professional skills.

The Role 

• Examining AML/KYC documentation and due diligence documents that are  submitted by depositors supporting their Proof of Debt Claims to the Liquidator. 
• Examining AML/KYC documentation and due diligence documents that are filed in  FBME’s depositors’ files.
• Performing due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) on depositors  and their related parties.  
• Evaluating depositors’ and their related parties’ economic profile and financial  transactions.  
• Participating in meetings relating to the depositors’ KYC and CDD.
• Participating in Review of Depositors’ Claims meetings.
• Preparing review reports, documentation, and correspondence, related to the  AML/KYC examination.  
• Performing any other required work within the scope of the Liquidation.
