We support organizations operating in regulated industries such as finance, digital assets, Web3/blockchain, insurance, healthcare, and technology. Drawing inspiration from the historic Pnyx Hill in Athens, the firm emphasizes strategic clarity, disciplined execution, and long-term partnerships.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with a growing presence in Dubai, Astana, Nicosia, Athens, and additional emerging markets, Pnyx Hill connects dynamic jurisdictions to deliver seamless advisory experiences across borders. The firm is dedicated to driving sustainable growth, managing reputational and regulatory risks, and empowering clients to achieve strategic objectives through high-impact advisory services.

Role Description

The Finance Associate is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the group and supporting selected clients with financial and regulatory reporting.

This is a hands-on role focused on financial reporting, control, budgeting, and regulatory-aligned financial support, with increasing responsibility as the group scales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate external audits, tax filings, VAT preparation and filling and statutory reporting across jurisdictions in collaboration with external advisors.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve financial policies, controls, and risk management frameworks to support a growing multi-entity group.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and transparency across financial systems and reporting structures.

Client Finance & Regulatory Support

  • Support clients in monitoring capital, liquidity, and prudential metrics in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in preparation of regulatory and prudential financial reports and submissions.
  • Support client teams in implementing accounting processes and basic internal controls.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulators, and advisors on routine finance and reporting matters.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent) is mandatory.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles, preferably within regulated financial services, advisory, or multi-entity environments.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and experience preparing full financial statements, budgets, and forecasts is prefered.
  • Solid understanding of capital adequacy, liquidity monitoring, and prudential reporting requirements in regulated financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and operating financial controls, policies, and risk frameworks.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, discretion, and reliability.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage credibly with leadership, clients, auditors, and regulators.
  • Proficiency with accounting and reporting systems and advanced Excel; familiarity with regulatory reporting platforms is an advantage.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and a clear progression path based on performance.
  • Exposure to complex, multi-jurisdictional financial and regulatory environments.

  • A modern, collaborative, and professional working environment in Nicosia.
