Job Description
DMA Architects-Engineers is seeking a motivated and talented Architect to join our team at our offices in Larnaca, Cyprus.
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of architectural projects, from concept design and planning applications through to detailed design, construction documentation and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural designs from concept through to detailed design and construction stages.
- Prepare architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
- Prepare and submit planning and building permit documentation.
- Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP and other engineering disciplines.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities where required.
- Assist with project coordination and preparation of tender and construction documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable Cyprus planning regulations, building regulations, standards and requirements.
- Participate in design meetings and contribute to the development of projects within the practice.
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Architecture from a recognised university.
- Previous professional experience in an architectural practice is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Familiarity with Revit and BIM workflows will be considered a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of Cyprus planning and building regulations.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials and detailing.
- Strong design and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
