Architect (Computational Designer)
Job Description
Skhema Group is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Architect (Computational Designer) to support our growing local and international design and outsourcing initiatives, particularly in collaboration with architectural practices in Cyprus, Europe & Middle East. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, design-driven studio working on innovative, high-profile projects.
Who You Are:
You are a forward-thinking designer with a strong foundation in architecture and a passion for computational processes. You thrive in collaborative environments, communicate effectively, and can manage complex tasks independently while meeting high standards of design and delivery.
Candidate Requirements:
- Professional Degree in Architecture/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
- 2+ years’ experience in computational design and architectural practice
- Advanced proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper
- Strong knowledge of Revit and Rhino.Inside workflows
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD & Revit
- Scripting skills in Python and C# (Grasshopper/Rhino Inside/Revit and in Visual Studio)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- International Experience will be considered a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Experience in technical detailing, construction packages, and site coordination
- Ability to multitask across several projects and deadlines
- Willingness to work on both local (Cyprus) and international projects
- A passion for design, innovation, and continuous learning
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop parametric and computational design solutions using Rhino, Grasshopper, and scripting tools
- Integrate and optimize Revit workflows through Rhino.Inside for BIM coordination
- Support design stages from concept through construction, including prototyping and automation
- Work closely with architects and engineers on technically ambitious, design-led projects
- Produce design variations, drawing packages, 3D models, and visualizations
- Create technical details and construction documentation
- Assist in client presentations and coordination with project stakeholders
- Drive the office’s expertise in computational design and digital tools
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal quality procedures
- Report regularly on project progress to the Director of Architecture
