CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established accounting and audit firm offering a comprehensive range of professional services including Audit and Assurance, Accounting, Tax and advanced Business and Corporate Consulting, we are seeking to recruit an Audit Manager to join their growing team based in Larnaca. Our client is seeking applicants who are full members of the ACA or ACCA, who possess 3+ years of experience working as an Audit Manager or similar level. You will need to possess excellent knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auding (ISA), and be fluent in both Greek and English. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a generous base salary, 13th salary, and provident fund. Working hours are from 07:45 – 17:00 each Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, 07:45 – 15:00 each Wednesday, and from 07:45 – 14:45 each Friday. 

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

• Managing an audit team.
• Planning, monitoring, and reviewing audit personnel.
• Reviewing and discussing Financial Statements with clients.
• Reviewing tax computations and communicating with the tax authorities.
• Participating in training the members of the team by providing guidance and coaching.
• Implementing company best practices to prepare financial statements, client correspondence, and other audit related documentation.
• Collaborating with internal departments and associates to ensure the completion of deliverables.
• Liaising with clients and contribute to building strong client relationships.
• Reporting to the Managing Director.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

• Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales or Member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants
• 3+ years of experience as an Audit Manager.
• Excellent knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auding (ISA).
• Organizational and management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Greek.
