Our firm is looking to recruit an Auditor to join our team in Limassol on a full-time, on-site basis.
The role involves planning and performing audit engagements for a portfolio of clients in accordance with applicable auditing standards, IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and perform audit procedures, prepare working papers, evaluate audit evidence and identify areas of risk.
Review internal controls and client processes and communicate audit findings.
Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards.
Communicate with clients, obtain supporting documentation and assist with audit files and reports.
Complete audit work accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of relevant audit experience in an audit firm
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
ACCA or ACA qualification, or progress towards qualification, is an advantage
Good knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
Strong accounting and analytical skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and audit/accounting software
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professionalism, integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
