Job Title: Bookkeeper for an Aerospace Maintenance Company
Location: Larnaca, Cyprus (On-site/Office-based)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day financial transactions of our MRO operations, ensuring high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced technical environment. This role is critical in maintaining the financial health of our aircraft maintenance projects for a Company which is expanding rapidly.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Transactions: Record and categorize all financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries.
- MRO Invoicing: Assist in preparation and issue detailed invoices for aircraft maintenance services, ensuring all parts and labour hours are accurately captured.
- Inventory Tracking: Collaborate with the stores department to track high-value aviation parts and reconcile inventory costs.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Supplier Management: Liaise with local and international aviation vendors regarding payments and statement discrepancies.
- Payroll Support: Assist in processing monthly payroll and social insurance contributions for technical and admin staff.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and VAT filings in compliance with Cyprus regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping; prior experience in the aviation or technical services sector is highly preferred.
- Education: LCCI Higher or a Degree in Accounting/Finance. (Partly Qualified for ACCA and/or ACA is considered a bonus.
- Software: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or specialized MRO ERPs) and advanced MS Office skills.
- Language: Fluent in English (the primary language of aviation); Greek is considered a strong advantage.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on data accuracy and meeting strict deadlines.
- Communication: Professional demeanour for interacting with, contractors, and vendors and other stakeholders.
