Job Description
We are currently recruiting for the position of the Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
- Prepare VAT and VIES declarations in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping and accounting records
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, creditors, and debtors balances
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, auditors, and external authorities as required
- Support the preparation of financial statements and audit processes
Qualifications:
- Qualification or degree in accounting
- Prior experience in Cyprus, preferably in accounting, audit, fiduciary, or tax firm
- Proficient knowledge of English and Greek language. Other languages will be considered an advantage
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Proactive, professional, client service orientated, with good organizational skills
- Knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
