ProCareer Ltd. is recruiting on behalf of its client - an international bunker trader and physical supplier of marine fuel. With over 20 years of presence in the shipping and energy sectors, the company has built a strong reputation through long-term partnerships, commercial expertise, and a pragmatic approach to business.

We are currently seeking a hands-on Bookkeeper to join our team in Limassol to support daily financial operations in a fast-paced shipping environment.

This is a high-volume, detail-driven operational role, where accuracy, consistency, and the ability to follow processes are critical.

What you will be doing:

• Support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations across a group of companies
• Issue and process invoices, ensuring accurate record-keeping
• Record and allocate bank transactions, prepare and process online payments
• Monitor incoming payments from clients and manage supplier payment schedules, as well as credit line utilization and repayment schedules
• Prepare documentation and supporting materials for audits
• Assist in preparing documentation for banking and financing activities
• Support month-end closing by performing reconciliations and preparing accounting reports
• Perform other ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Good command of Greek and English (written and spoken)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage evolving priorities
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team
• Experience in the maritime industry is an advantage
