About the role

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Chef (III) to join our catering team in Episkopi. The role involves preparing and serving meals to high standards, supporting the day-to-day kitchen operation, and maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene within a busy catering environment.
 

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and service of meals in a fast-paced kitchen
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
• Work alongside the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding service
• Cook and serve meals to military personnel, delivering high standards every day
• Oversee kitchen sanitation and ensure best practices are always followed
• Be part of high-profile events and special functions, showcasing your culinary expertise
• Take part in bulk cooking, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
   

What You Bring:

• Previous experience working within a busy kitchen or catering environment
• Catering qualification or recognised catering school/college diploma
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and health & safety
• Good spoken and written English
   

Flexible approach to shifts, weekends, and evening work.

 

What we offer:

• Monthly gross salary: € 1,384.80 + C.O.L.A
• Additional double rate overtime for weekend working
• Provident Fund with 7% employer contribution
• 13th salary after completion of 3 months service
• Annual pay increments
• 20 days annual leave, increasing to 25 days after three years and 30 days after 10 years’ service.
