Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and appearance, and health and safety standards in workplaces.
To prepare for the Chef, the weekly working schedule of pastry staff. Coordinate and supervise work of other stewarding staff.
To report to the line manager, or person in authority any dangerous situations in the workplace or any perceived shortcomings in health and safety arrangements.
To be involved in the appointment of Cleaning Staff. Train, instruct and supervise the work of Cleaning Staff.
To ensure all works carried out by the Cleaning are completed with due observation to appropriate Health & Safety requirements.
To supervise all cleaning procedures, including proper usage of chemicals.
To ensure all standards and procedures, by contributing in the implementation and maintenance of the quality systems in the department
Qualifications Requirements
Previous experience in same or similar job
Health & Safety and HACCP certificate
A commitment to work towards achieving a recognized qualification
