Leonardo Hotels & Resorts Mediterranean, is now recruiting for the position of Chief Steward at Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris Hotel & Spa

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and appearance, and health and safety standards in workplaces.
• To prepare for the Chef, the weekly working schedule of pastry staff. Coordinate and supervise work of other stewarding staff. 
• To report to the line manager, or person in authority any dangerous situations in the workplace or any perceived shortcomings in health and safety arrangements. 
• To be involved in the appointment of Cleaning Staff. Train, instruct and supervise the work of Cleaning Staff. 
• To ensure all works carried out by the Cleaning are completed with due observation to appropriate Health & Safety requirements. 
• To supervise all cleaning procedures, including proper usage of chemicals.
• To ensure all standards and procedures, by contributing in the implementation and maintenance of the quality systems in the department

Qualifications Requirements

• Previous experience in same or similar job
• Health & Safety and HACCP certificate
• A commitment to work towards achieving a recognized qualification
