CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team based in the heart of Nicosia. As a Client Accountant, you will provide clients with a range of accounting and bookkeeping services, including the preparation and submission of VAT, VIES and basic tax reports, assisting with the preparation of accounting books, management accounts, annual financial statements, and more! Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar, and holders of, or those working towards any relevant accounting qualification are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess approximately 3 years experience in a similar role, with knowledge of Cycom and/or Caseware accounting software considered an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of clients and accommodate their reporting and filings.
Preparation and filing of VAT, VIES and basic tax reports.
Preparation of accounting books.
Preparation of management accounts and annual financial statements.
Reporting to the Partner.
Direct communication with clients.
Key Skills/Experience:
An academic background in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar is desirable.
Holders of, or those working towards any relevant accounting qualification are encouraged to apply.
Approximately 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
Knowledge of accounting software Cycom and Caseware will be considered an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of the English and Greek languages.
Ambitious, fast learner with good organizational skills.
