Job Summary
Lead sales and commercial activities for Cyprus and Bulgaria, driving revenue, sales and profitability in line with business objectives. Develop customer relationships and commercial opportunities while ensuring compliance with Swissport’s governance, policies and procedures.
Your activities
- Act as the key commercial contact for Cyprus and Bulgaria within the CEMEAI region
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring their needs are effectively addressed.
- Develop and manage account plans, sales plans, budgets and forecasts for Cyprus and Bulgaria.
- Monitor sales volumes, revenue and costs against forecasts and build in contingencies
- Explore new business opportunities, protect existing business and develop and maintain the commercial pipeline.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Salesforce information and commercial reporting.
- Understand customer priorities, needs and pain points and align Swissport solutions accordingly.
- Lead customer meetings and commercial discussions, ensuring appropriate follow-up of agreed actions.
- Lead and manage RFPs, tenders and new business opportunities from initial assessment through to conclusion.
- Lead pricing activities and customer negotiations, ensuring commercial proposals support revenue and profitability objectives.
- Review and negotiate SGHAs, SLAs and other commercial agreements in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Ensure new business opportunities are profitable by implementing appropriate control mechanisms
- Collaborate closely with CEMEAI Commercial, Operations, Finance and other internal stakeholders to deliver commercial objectives.
- Lead and monitor price increase activities, ensuring timely implementation and follow-up.
- Ensure all commercial activities comply with Swissport policies, governance, approval processes and applicable procedures.
- Contribute to achieving Swissport’s revenue, sales, profitability and customer retention objectives for Cyprus and Bulgaria.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Aviation Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commercial, sales, account management, business development or aviation-related roles, with proven experience in customer relationship management, pricing and contract negotiations.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial and commercial KPIs and identify opportunities for profitable growth.
- Excellent English communication skills including written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong customer orientation, with the ability to understand customer needs and develop effective commercial solutions.
- Ability to create and foster internal and external relationships that enable the development of beneficial solutions
- Results oriented with strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to take accountability for results, monitor performance and implement corrective actions where required.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills, including pricing, business development and contract management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong IT skills
- High level of trustworthiness, integrity and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Willingness to travel as required
