Job Description
Role Purpose
The Country Sales Manager – Cyprus is responsible for representing KASSINAKIS S.A. in the Cypriot market, acting as the company’s primary commercial and technical contact on the island.
The role combines responsibilities of both a Regional Sales Representative and a Sales Engineer, focusing on maintaining and expanding the existing customer network (electrical wholesalers), developing new business opportunities, and promoting the company’s products to electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and technical companies involved in electromechanical (E/M) projects.
The position plays a key role in strengthening KASSINAKIS’s market presence, ensuring commercial performance, and collecting market intelligence from Cyprus.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Management & Business Development
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients (electrical wholesalers) ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and commercial results.
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities within the Cypriot market.
- Conduct regular visits to existing and potential customers, following a structured territory plan.
- Manage order-taking, follow-up on deliveries and overall customer satisfaction.
- Present and promote new products, campaigns, and commercial initiatives to partners and clients.
Technical Sales & Market Development
- Build and maintain a network of contacts among electrical engineers, consultants, and project managers.
- Promote and specify KASSINAKIS products in new and ongoing E/M projects.
- Provide technical guidance and support regarding product specifications and applications.
- Participate in trade shows, technical events, and industry gatherings to represent the company.
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Marketing teams in Greece to deliver integrated solutions.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Collect and report market information related to competition, pricing, and new product introductions.
- Record visits, projects, and sales activities in the company’s CRM system (Entersoft).
- Provide regular reports and feedback to the Commercial Director.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration (preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales within the electrical materials or construction-related industries.
- Strong understanding of the electrical wholesale market and E/M project ecosystem in Cyprus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Driving license and availability for frequent travel across Cyprus.
- Good command of English (technical level preferred).
KPIs
- Monthly number of customer and project visits.
- Growth of sales turnover and market share in Cyprus.
- Number of new accounts or projects specified with KASSINAKIS products.
- CRM reporting accuracy and update frequency.
