Key Responsibilities
The Dean will play a central role in advancing the School’s mission and strategic objectives, including:
- Leading the management, growth, and overall development of the School of Business.
- Ensuring the quality, innovation, and effective delivery of academic programmes.
- Enhancing the student learning experience through high-quality teaching and academic support.
- Promoting the School and its programmes through strategic initiatives and external engagement.
Leadership and Strategic Contribution
The successful candidate will provide strong and effective leadership by:
- Developing and implementing a coherent strategic plan, with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Driving excellence in online and blended learning methodologies and pedagogical practices.
- Building and maintaining partnerships with industry stakeholders, professional bodies, and academic networks.
- Collaborating effectively across departments while ensuring adherence to institutional policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) from an accredited university in a relevant Business discipline (e.g., Management, Finance, Marketing, or related fields).
- A strong record of academic research and publications.
- Proven teaching experience in higher education.
- Demonstrated academic leadership and administrative experience, including staff management.
- Experience in programme development, evaluation, and accreditation processes.
- Experience in distance learning and online education will be considered an advantage.
