We are growing and looking to expand our Finance Office Team!

The Center for Social Innovation (CSI) Ltd. (https://csicy.com/) is an organization that focuses on identifying and solving social problems in the markets and communities, where it operates and quality Financial Management is an essential element for success. 

 

We are currently seeking to recruit an EU Financial & Accounting Officer for our main offices in Nicosia. This position is for full-time hybrid engagement in a very attractive work environment and a great overall package will be offered to the successful candidate.

 

Main Responsibilities:

·        Manage the financial aspect of the organization‘s research projects and prepare financial reports with accuracy

·        Represent CSI abroad to various training events - ability to travel

·        Prepare accounting and financial reports

·        Provide support to the Finance Team during the final audit process

·        Deal with cost transfer entries, project filing

·        Assist in all aspects of accounts receivable and payable

·        Track payment status when necessary and post bills and invoices

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·        Degree in Accounting/Finance or CAT or LCCI Higher or other equivalent qualification and One (1) year related experience

·        Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

·        Excellent command of the English and Greek language, both verbal and written

·        Ability to handle numerical information with accuracy, proficient computer skills and the ability to meet deadlines

·        Strong organizational skills, team player, results-oriented and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

·        Results-oriented and able to work independently to complete assigned tasks

·        Goal-oriented and hard-working

·        Willing and able to acquire and share knowledge

·        Ability to collaborate and work in a team

·        Strong organizational skills

 

Additional Qualifications that will be considered as an advantage:

·        Experience in Financial Management of European Commission funded projects

·        Knowledge of SAGE accounting software
