Sunnyseeker Hotels is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper for one of our hotels.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the day-to-day housekeeping operation such as cleaning and maintenance and at the same time ensures the compliance with all housekeeping policies, procedures, standards and satisfaction of guests’ needs.
• Conducts daily morning meeting with staff.
• Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective checkouts or discharges to prepare work assignments.
• Leads the Housekeeping Department by developing and implementing departmental objectives in line with the hotel business objectives.
• Inspects all areas and take corrective measures in order to meet Radisson Standards in terms of cleanliness, maintenance and supply.
• Develops, implements, and continually review the brand policies, procedures, practices and standards.
• Prepares employee weekly Schedule according to the operation forecast, payroll budget guidelines and productivity requirements.
• Completes all reports in a timely and efficient manner as required by management.
• Manages linen inventory and guest supplies and the ordering of supplies as necessary to meet quality standards and hotel operation needs.
• Selects, trains, develops and manages the performance of staff to ensure the efficient running of housekeeping operations.
• Ensures all employees have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms.
• Attends and Coordinates weekly department stand up meetings and monthly departmental meetings as necessary.
• Coordinates housekeeping duties with various departments such as Front Desk, Engineering, Sales and Food & Beverage to ensure that all guestrooms, public areas and back of the house are clean and well maintained in a timely and efficient manner.
• Participates in the planning of hotel decoration for special functions and festive seasons and organize the necessary actions with the close collaboration of the event manager.
• Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
• Responds to all guest requests, situations, complaints and accidents presented to Housekeeping in an attentive, courteous and efficient way.
• Accomplish administrative duties such as leading and attending meetings, writing reports and other specific duties related to the job requirements.
• Performs duty-manager role.
• Maintains and monitors "Lost and Found" procedures and policies according to hotel SOP.
• Performs any other duties as requested by the General Manager

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Be motivated and professional in appearance and presentation.
• Highly focused.
• Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem solving.
• Good Computer knowledge.
• Good knowledge of Greek and English language. Knowledge of a third language will be considered as an advantage.
• Strong leadership skills with high level of responsibility.
• Proven work experience with at least 2+ years in a 4-5 star hotels as a Housekeeper.
