About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Office Manager to support the financial management and reporting of a diversified private investment portfolio on behalf of our Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO).
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records across multiple asset classes, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the timely valuation and reconciliation of investments.
This role requires a mature professional who is comfortable working independently, exercises sound judgment, and maintains the highest standards of confidentiality.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive accounting records for a diversified portfolio of investments.
- Monitor and record transactions across multiple asset classes, including listed equities, privately owned businesses, investment funds, and other financial assets.
- Review and interpret custodian statements, fund capital account statements, audited financial statements, and other investment documentation.
- Update and maintain fair values of investment holdings based on available market data and financial information.
- Prepare quarterly financial statements, including: Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement,Cash Flow Statement,
- Perform reconciliations between investment records and custodian reports.
- Maintain detailed records of all investment movements, acquisitions, disposals, capital calls, distributions, dividends, interest income, and other portfolio activity.
- Support the preparation of reports for management and external advisers.
- Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with internal reporting requirements.
About You
You are a mature, proactive professional who enjoys working independently and managing complex financial information with accuracy and discretion.
You will have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA) preferred.
- Strong experience in investment accounting, family office accounting, private wealth management, or financial reporting.
- Excellent understanding of: Custodian statements, Investment portfolio reporting, Fund capital account statements,, Audited financial statements
- Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A high level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
