Head of Accounting Department
Job Description
- Monitors and controls the Possible Disputes Notifications process (VAT Reporting & VIES).
- Excellent knowledge of Payroll Software (handling and Preparation) as well as Social Insurance regulations as well as PAYE issues is a must.
- Identifies and corrects any mistakes identified in the Accounting Processes.
- Ensures adequate checks and controls are maintained to ensure quality and consistency of bookkeeping followed within accounting department.
- Ensures that adequate documentary evidence is available in support of bookkeeping entries as well as for the purposes of audit by external auditors and in compliance with legal requirements.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Team building & mentoring ability
