Head Waiter/Waitress
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supervise and lead a team of waiters/waitresses in the outlet to ensure smooth and efficient service.
· Assist in the day-to-day operation of the outlet, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
· Maintain a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients and methods of preparation, to provide accurate information to guests.
· Ensure that service standards are consistently met in accordance with the F&B Standard Operating Procedures and Hotel’s Policies and Regulations.
· Use the Hotel’s POS system proficiently to manage orders and transactions.
· Foster excellent communication and teamwork between staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
· Provide excellent, friendly, and professional guest service at all times to create a memorable experience.
· Handle guest complaints or concerns effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
Qualification and Experience:
· Working experience of at least 2 years in a similar position
· Very good knowledge of English language.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills
· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
· Positive, engaging personality
· Professional appearance & attitude
