Job Description
This role involves ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, overseeing workplace safety practices, and supporting the organization in maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety standards and a commitment to promoting best practices.
The Opportunity:
Monitor and oversee all health and safety aspects related to employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
Ensure adherence to Health & Safety Plans, procedures, risk registers, mitigation plans, and audit requirements.
Prepare and review risk assessments and task-specific method statements where required.
Conduct regular inspections of the workplace and operations to identify hazards, risks, and non-conformities.
Implement and enforce preventative and corrective measures.
Review and update health and safety policies and procedures in line with legislative and organizational changes.
Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
Deliver health and safety training and awareness sessions to people as needed.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety compliance.
The Requirements:
University degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
3–5 years of proven experience in a Health & Safety role.
Additional Health & Safety certifications/qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) will be considered an advantage.
Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Greek.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken).

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emerging safety issues.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Team-oriented with the confidence to guide and support employees and contractors on health and safety matters.
