Solaar Hospitality Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of its hotel in Larnaca. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel, maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and service quality, managing hotel staff, and achieving operational and financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of all hotel departments, ensuring efficient operations and high service standards.
Supervise, lead, and coordinate department heads and hotel staff, ensuring effective teamwork and professional performance.
Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards of hospitality, service quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
Monitor guest feedback, handle complaints professionally, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Monitor hotel performance, occupancy levels, operating costs, and budgets, taking appropriate action to improve efficiency and profitability.
Coordinate with the Reservations, Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance departments, as applicable.
Manage staff planning, scheduling, training, performance monitoring, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Ensure that hotel facilities, equipment, and public areas are properly maintained and that maintenance issues are addressed promptly.
Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety, hygiene, fire safety, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to the Employer and senior management regarding hotel performance, staffing, guest satisfaction, and operational matters.
Coordinate with suppliers and external service providers to support the efficient operation of the hotel.
Identify opportunities to improve operational procedures, service standards, cost control, and overall business performance.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a Hotel Manager position or a similar hotel management role.
A university degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Tourism Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of hotel operations, service standards, and hospitality management practices.
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise employees effectively.
Experience in operational planning, budgeting, cost control, and monitoring hotel performance.
Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to make sound decisions, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively under pressure.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Good computer skills and familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and standard office applications.
Knowledge of health and safety requirements and relevant hospitality regulations.
