The role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Administrator to join our dynamic team and ensure the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining, securing, and optimizing both in-house and customer IT systems, providing essential support that enables the organization to operate efficiently and securely. This position requires strong hands-on experience in IT systems administration, with proven expertise in configuring, monitoring, and maintaining IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of security best practices, compliance standards (ISO27001), and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively while supporting end-users across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, install, configure, upgrade, operate and maintain the I.T. infrastructure of the company and Customers
- Setup accounts and workstations for new employees and provide onboarding IT support
- Monitor the I.T. infrastructure performance, troubleshoot technical issues
- Ensure continuous security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Be part of the ISO27001 team and ensure compliance with ISO27001 standards and conduct internal audits to verify adherence to IT policies and procedures
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including network setup, installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of software and hardware
- Proven experience in managing virtualized environments, network servers, firewalls, and other technology tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Strong understanding of system and network security, including access controls, backups, and firewalls
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
- Professional certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) is a plus
- Familiarity with ISO27001 standards and experience in conducting internal audit is a plus
