CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and expanding provider of Software Development and Web Design services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit an IT Project Manager to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As an IT Project Manager, you will primarily be responsible for the planning, and execution of technology projects on time and within budget. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Information Technology, Business, or other relevant fields, who possess approximately 2+ years of relevant experience in Project Management gained working in the IT/Software domain. Holders of any relevant project management qualification/certification (PMP, PRINCE2 etc...) are encouraged to apply, and fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Lead project planning sessions, ensuring the project scope is well-defined. 
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects. 
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress. 
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. 
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. 
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks. 
• Report and escalate issues to management as needed. 
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. 
• Ensure resource availability and allocation. 
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. 
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project. 

 

Key Skills/Experience:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is a plus. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the IT/Software domain.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.  
• Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
• Proactive and results-oriented. 
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 
• Ability to motivate teams and drive results.
