CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Mobility & Cloud applications to a wide range of local clientele, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Developer (PHP) to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Junior Developer you will primarily be responsible for developing new features and improving the existing code of our Clients Cloud Platform. Our client is seeking applicants who hold a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and ideally have a minimum of 1+ year of experience in a similar position. Any previous experience working with PHP and MySQL will be considered an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English are essential. A highly competitive salary and benefits package is on offer, which includes a 13th Salary and Annual Bonus. Working hours are 08:00 – 13:00, 14:00-17:00 or 09:00 – 13:00, 14:00-18:00.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain modern and functional code in PHP and MySQL.
Understand, implement, and maintain data interfaces between Coprime and other systems.
Deploy new code to existing customer servers.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the development process.
Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development and suggest improvements to current systems.
Key Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience.
Previous experience working with PHP and MySQL will be considered an advantage.
Good verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced software development team.
Flexible attitude with the ability to perform well under pressure.
