Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Mobility & Cloud applications to a wide range of local clientele, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Developer (PHP) to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Junior Developer you will primarily be responsible for developing new features and improving the existing code of our Clients Cloud Platform. Our client is seeking applicants who hold a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and ideally have a minimum of 1+ year of experience in a similar position. Any previous experience working with PHP and MySQL will be considered an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English are essential. A highly competitive salary and benefits package is on offer, which includes a 13th Salary and Annual Bonus. Working hours are 08:00 – 13:00, 14:00-17:00 or 09:00 – 13:00, 14:00-18:00.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain modern and functional code in PHP and MySQL.
• Understand, implement, and maintain data interfaces between Coprime and other systems.
• Deploy new code to existing customer servers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the development process.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development and suggest improvements to current systems.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Previous experience working with PHP and MySQL will be considered an advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced software development team.
• Flexible attitude with the ability to perform well under pressure.
