Job Description

Responsibilities:

•     Monitoring the IT infrastructure: identifying failures in servers, network nodes and critical services
•    Troubleshooting:
  • In Windows Server operating systems
  • In the Company’s product (Ultency Matching Engine)
  • In MetaTrader5 trading servers
  • Network outages
• Providing Level 1 technical support to users via the ticketing system
• Documenting solutions in the knowledge base, escalating complex issues to system administrators and developers.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year’s experience in IT technical support (or an internship + technical education).
• Windows administration skills:
  • OS installation/recovery, working with the Windows Registry
  • Understanding of system events (Event Viewer), BSOD diagnostics
  • Ability to work with the command line (CMD)
• Basic knowledge of networking technologies:
  • Understanding of how the network protocols works
  • Ability to analyse issues using ping, tracert, ipconfig
• Willingness to work night/morning shifts
• Analytical mindset: ability to reproduce user/system errors and identify root causes of failures.

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of PowerShell and bash scripts
• Knowledge of MetaTrader 5
• Experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana)
