Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Web Developer to build and maintain our landing pages and to support our IT lead with day-to-day web tasks. Your main focus is creating and editing landing pages from designs and briefs, turning them into clean, fast, responsive HTML, CSS and JavaScript that looks pixel-faithful on desktop and mobile.
Key Responsibilities
- Build new landing pages and edit existing ones from designs, briefs and change requests.
- Write clean, responsive HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Work inside PHP page templates (reading and editing simple values in the markup) without breaking forms or page logic.
- Wire pages to pass-through data such as product images, titles and prices supplied via the URL.
- Optimise pages for speed and light page weight.
- Test across browsers and devices, debug display issues, and document your changes.
- Assist the IT lead with other small web and internal-tool tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Fluent English, written and spoken (mandatory).
- Must live in or near Larnaca and have the legal right to work and reside in Cyprus, no remote applications.
- 1 to 2 years of web experience, or a strong personal project portfolio.
- Solid hands-on HTML, CSS and JavaScript (no framework required).
- Mobile-first, responsive layout skills and a good eye for detail.
- Eagerness to learn, take feedback and pick up new tools quickly.
Nice to Have
- Basic PHP (enough to read and edit values inside HTML templates).
- Experience with conversion or landing pages.
- Awareness of web performance optimisation.
- Basic Git or command-line familiarity, or exposure to React, Vue or Svelte as a bonus for future growth.
