Job Description
Alexander College is seeking to recruit a Full-Time Lecturer in Computer Science to join the academic team of the BSc Computer Science with Gaming Development programme at our Larnaca Campus.
The programme is a four-year, full-time, CYQAA-accredited undergraduate degree, taught in Greek, with a focus on Computer Science, software development, game development, practical learning, and industry-based projects.

Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Teach undergraduate Computer Science modules
- Prepare and deliver lectures, labs, seminars, and practical sessions
- Support students through academic guidance and feedback
- Contribute to assessment, marking, and academic quality processes
- Supervise projects and dissertations where required
- Participate in programme development and departmental activities
- Support research and academic development within the department
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have:
- A PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field
- Strong knowledge in areas such as software development, programming, databases, artificial intelligence, game development, cybersecurity, or related Computer Science fields
- Teaching experience in higher education will be considered an advantage
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to teach in Greek and/or English
