We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our diverse portfolio. This role provides legal oversight across employment law, commercial real estate, and general business operations in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment, as well as liaising with the Group’s external legal advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on employment-related matters including contracts, terminations, disputes, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Provide legal support in matters related to commercial real estate, including property leases, acquisitions, and related contractual obligations.
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and legal documents across departments such as operations, HR, procurement, IT, marketing, and strategic partnerships.
Ensure company policies and practices are aligned with current legal and regulatory requirements.
Support and advise HR, Operations, and other internal departments on legal compliance, risk mitigation, and best practices.
Oversee and coordinate legal proceedings or external disputes in collaboration with external legal counsel—without personal courtroom representation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB), preferably from a common law jurisdiction.
Up to 7 years of experience in legal practice, with a strong focus on employment law and commercial real estate-related matters.
Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
Excellent legal document drafting skills.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
High standards of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Experience with franchise or brand licensing agreements will be considered an advantage.
