Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries and Consultants Ltd, on behalf of its client, a leading premium beverages importer and distributor in Cyprus, is seeking to recruit a strategic, commercially driven, and innovative Marketing Manager to join its dynamic team in Larnaca.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategy, planning, execution, and overall performance of the company’s beverage portfolio. The role reports directly to the Marketing Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning
o Leading the annual and long-term marketing strategy for the beverage category
o Developing and executing integrated brand plans (ATL, BTL, digital, activations)
o Identifying market opportunities, competitive challenges, category trends, and growth drivers within the beverage market
o Ensuring alignment between marketing strategy, sales priorities, and business objectives
- Brand & Portfolio Management
o Supervising, mentoring, and supporting the Brand Manager in executing brand strategies
o Ensuring consistent brand positioning, messaging, and execution across all channels
o Monitoring brand performance, KPIs, and ROI of marketing activities and campaigns
o Driving portfolio optimisation and innovation in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Budget & Performance Management
o Managing the annual beverage marketing budget
o Ensuring effective allocation, control, and optimisation of marketing spend
o Analysing fund performance and recommending actions to maximise commercial impact
- Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management
o Working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure seamless execution
o Leading key commercial initiatives, promotions, and channel strategies
o Acting as primary contact for international brand owners and partners
o Presenting brand performance and plans in regular business forums
- Team Management
o Leading, coaching, and developing the Brand Manager to support both individual and team performance
o Setting clear objectives, monitoring progress, and providing ongoing feedback and professional guidance
o Promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation
Requirements
- University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing or brand management; experience in the FMCG or beverages industry will be considered a strong advantage
- Proven track record in end-to-end brand management and successful project delivery
- Team management experience will be considered a plus
- Strong understanding of brand building, consumer marketing, and the commercial impact of marketing strategies
- Strong strategic thinking combined with a proactive, hands-on mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with close attention to detail
- Computer literate
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Greek languages
Remuneration & Benefits
A competitive and attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate based on qualifications and experience, including:
- Annual Gross Salary around €39,000 (paid in 13 instalments)
