Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established, International company specialising in the provision of Engineering & Consultancy Services to a wide range of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team of professionals based in Nicosia. As a Mechanical Engineer you will primarily be responsible for the preparation of project design documentation and drawings, as well as carrying out regular site surveys and collecting relevant data. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level Mechanical Engineering, who possess some working knowledge of the AutoCAD software package. Previous work experience of up to 2 years is highly desirable, and excellent communications skills in English are essential. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Prepare project design documentation and drawings.
• Review of design drawings.
• Carry out site surveys and data collection.
• Code compliance audits.
• Organize projects files.
• Undertake the design calculations of the projects.
• Prepare project presentations to the client.
• Carry out any other activities assigned to him/her and are related to his/her duties.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Up to 2 years of relevant professional experience is highly desirable.
• Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD software (ideally with some experience outside of University/Studies).
• Good knowledge of the English language both verbal and written.
• Communication skills and development of interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Dynamic and flexible to be able to respond to changing priorities.
